About Amir Mirza
I started this firm because the system wasn't built for you.
I watched insurance companies deny legitimate claims long enough. So I decided to do something about it.
Amir Mirza, B.S., J.D.
Founder & Principal Lawyer
"People may not always remember what you say, but they will almost always remember how you made them feel. This philosophy guides me in my professional life as an attorney; it is the cornerstone of my approach with my clients, colleagues, and team members."
I do one thing: fight disability insurance denials. I built Mirza Law because most firms treat disability cases as a sideline. This is all I do.
I've spent my career in disability insurance law. I've seen the biased medical exams. The private investigators parked outside someone's house. The "insufficient evidence" letters that are really just a polite way of saying we don't believe you.
But what made me start my own firm wasn't any of that.
Most law firms treat disability cases as a sideline. I built Mirza Law to treat them as the only thing that matters.
I kept meeting clients who'd been told their depression wasn't "real enough." Whose chronic pain was dismissed as "self-reported symptoms." Who were too exhausted from their condition to fight a billion-dollar insurance company alone.
Most law firms treat disability cases as a sideline. I built Mirza Law to treat them as the only thing that matters.
When I'm not reviewing denial letters, I'm probably reading something I should have read years ago. I don't have a corner office. I care about this work more than I care about looking like a law firm. That's about it.
Working With Us
What it actually looks like.
Where most people start.
I've read these letters. They're written to confuse you.
You paid into the policy for years. Now you need it and they're saying your condition doesn't qualify.
Your doctor says you can't work. Their doctor spent twelve minutes with your file and disagrees.
You call the insurance company and get a different answer every time. Nobody explains what happens next.
