About
Amir Mirza is a founding partner of Mirza Law and a nationally recognized advocate for employees facing discrimination, harassment, severance, and wrongful termination. A graduate of the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law (with honours) and the University of Waterloo (with honours), Amir began his career at Ontario's leading litigation firms, where he focused on personal injury on the plaintiff's side.
Since founding Mirza Law in 2017, Amir has built one of Ontario's most respected plaintiff-side employment practices and leads the firm's employment and long-term disability groups.
An employer has lawyers from day one. Most people don't. That gap is the problem.
Clients turn to Amir not only for his courtroom skill but for his unfaltering honesty and genuine care. He is known for telling clients the truth, not just what they want to hear. Whether representing a C-suite executive, a working parent, or an employee, Amir brings the same commitment to justice.
Amir represents workers from all socioeconomic backgrounds, from corporate boardrooms to factory floors, believing that fairness and accountability should never depend on a paycheck or title. He brings the same rigour, compassion, and tenacity to every case, no matter the client's role.
Before law school, Amir advocated for health reform policy. Today, he spends time with his family and is a weekend triathlete. Amir is licensed to practise in Ontario.

Our Story
A.
We believe that the details are everything. One overlooked clause or a missed deadline can cost you everything you're owed.
B.
We believe that transparency builds trust. We work on contingency, so you pay nothing up front and know what it costs before you commit.
C.
We believe that quality can never be traded for speed. Building your case right the first time beats trying to undo a rushed settlement later.
D.
We believe that communication is not optional. You hear back from a real person within a day.
